Ken represents trade unions and associations in a diverse range of labour law issues, bringing particular interest and expertise to the area of workers’ compensation. A passionate advocate, he takes pride in his ability to assist injured workers in navigating the oft-challenging workers’ compensation system. Practising in all areas of labour law, Ken regularly appears at arbitration, before labour boards and other administrative tribunals, and provides advice on collective bargaining issues.
With an empathetic and tenacious approach, Ken has a proven track record of achieving expeditious and fair results on behalf of his clients. He works on behalf of individual members’ interests as well as on broader matters that affect an entire bargaining unit. Ken has developed a special interest in Workplace Safety and Insurance Board claims representation and related issues.
Ken is an active supporter of continuing legal education, both as a speaker at conferences and seminars as well as Past Chair of the OBA Workers’ Compensation Section and Past Ontario Vice President of the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers.
Ken is a firm believer in the transformative power of song and the importance of music in general for social movements. For Ken, music is like breathing.
